‘Top Chef’ season 23 Power Rankings: Week 8
April 28, 2026

As previously revealed on Top Chef, this week would be Restaurant Wars. It is one of the most highly anticipated but also most difficult challenges every season.
Restaurant Wars this year had a few twists to it. It began with the contestants selecting their own teams. Another new challenge was that in addition to serving all the customers in person, each restaurant had to also take to-go orders. Just another wrinkle that could gum up the works.
As predicted, Sieger rejoined Top Chef after Jennifer’s departure due to medical reasons. He joined Brandon, Johnathan, and Oscar in the Latino driven but southern influenced Tierra Reina. Anthony, Laurence, Sherry, and Duyen opened up the new southern comfort Carolina Queen. Each restaurant needed to serve 100 diners and create a three course menu with two options each course.
In the Last Chance Kitchen finale, Tom continued the theme of Restaurant Wars. The competitors needed to come up with a concept and develop a three course progressive menu all in 45 minutes. Also, each course would be one bite each.
After one more elimination and the addition of the Last Chance Kitchen winner, the Top Chef Power Rankings experienced some changes. Here’s where everyone stands after week eight.

New episodes of Top Chef release Mondays on Bravo.
